Beth Albaneze is the founder and owner of House Calls Total Wellness. She launched the organization in 2004 after an older adult family member moved to her home and needed several community resources.
She was motivated to secure and obtain resources for her family members, ensuring they received optimal care.
Beth brings to House Calls Total Wellness over forty years of experience as a credentialed rehabilitation counselor and a Certified Recreation Therapist with additional skills in geriatric care management.
Beth has received many awards over the years, including "Practitioner of the Year" from the Maryland Association of Psychosocial Services, as well as awards from the National Society on Experiential Education, Best Buddies, the American Association of Therapeutic Recreation, and the Montgomery County Police Department.
Beth's many titles have included Director of the 'Open Door' program for the Montgomery County Recreation Department, Director of Students and Volunteers for two state-wide organizations, and an adjunct faculty member for over fifteen years at Montgomery College.
Beth and her team of specialized professionals use techniques and strategies to enhance physical, emotional, intellectual, and social functioning.
House Calls Total Wellness provides specialized community-based services for everyone, from children to older adults. Their interdisciplinary model utilizes one or more team specialist(s) under the House Calls Total Wellness umbrella.
The team prides itself on establishing an alternative approach by meeting clients in the comfort of their homes during acute or chronic life circumstances.
Beth's expertise in teaching active listening enables the House Calls Total Wellness team to establish trust and rapport quickly. Families who hire and enlist the House Calls Total Wellness services are offered guidance, coaching, counseling, and any other requested service to establish effective family communication.
